States of Flow :: Groundwater and MWD Usage

I'm teaching the Geography of California this summer and decided to teach the state's geography through an analysis of its water infrastructure. There have been all sorts of interesting ideas that have emerged from working together in the class, and among them is this flow chart I prepared mapping out how and why particular municipalities might choose to use either their groundwater sources or water provided through the Metropolitan Water District system.

It's a work in progress, but I think it's a start.
